Ive neglected my poor lil blog for almost a month exactly I decided to stay off the computer for a while due to the fact that I have MAJOR carpal tunnel, laugh it up. Well in all seriousness lets go back a couple of weeks ago I came home from work to find my mom and brother still up at 11pm I asked them what they were doing up and they said "Didn't you get our texts" so I check my phone (at&t sucks by the way, stupid iphone.) Well the text says "we have custody of Jessalyn and Jesse".
I'll go back to November of 07 we get together every thanksgiving at my dad's mom's house which is right next door we were waiting for my aunt Jessica (My dads sister who was like a 2nd mom to me) and her husband and kids (jessalyn and jesse) well they never showed up. So my grandparents start freaking out like they always do, the next day everyone went to their house my uncle couldn't find her either (he was coming home from work thanksgiving night), so finally he gets a call saying "its over I'm taking the kids" well more drama ensues and we come to find out that Jessica ended up cheating on him with one of his friends then runs off with him. So basically everyone but my dad and I accepted what she did and still had her around, my dad and I hold grudges like no other hahaha and we are both very stubborn so naturally we shut her out of our lives and stay far from the family.
Ok so back to present day Jessica now has 6 kids, 2 with Mike and 4 with the idiot guy she cheated on Mike with (John) well someone in John's family snitched and called child services and she got the kids got taken away (Jessalyn was living with my dad's parents, Jesse was from house to house and I dont really care about the other 4 kids in all honesty.) Ok well Jessalyn and Jesse have been living with us for a little over a month now and we are now the legal guardians till the next court date in November.
quick note during the hearing which was like 2 weeks ago I believe, John said to the judge that he wants a paternity test and a divorce from Jessica. Yeah.
You know you usually see this kind of stuff on tv or hear about it and you say to yourself "well that will never happen to my family" dont ever say never I know it sounds very cliche but life can change in a SECOND I still remember when my dad had a seizure in front of me and for a while I could actually hear myself screaming through out the day, it actually still haunts me. My dad's family has never been a close one even though we all live next to each other so after he had his seizure we became close then less than a year later the family is torn apart again. Jessalyn is 4 years old Jesse is 12 and these kids have been through so much for the tender age their at.
When I'm older and I hopefully marry the girl that wont eventually get on my nerves ha! the girl I'm supposed to be with and will enjoy every day with I just hope that we can love each other every minute of every day and work out every little fight that we have and be able to fall asleep in each other arms every night its just such a sad and difficult thing to go through especially when you have your little 4 year old cousin crying for 3 straight hours for her mom. Its so hard not to be able to tell her the truth so she will understand no family should have to go through this.
