Shining Down

So its been a while since I've last updated this the other day I bought True Romance one of my favorite movies of all time and I couldn't help but fall in love with the main characters all over again and wonder what the hell happened to Quinton Tarantinos writing? Clarence Worley who's played by Christian Slater and Alabama Whitman played by Patricia Arquette I gotta say you just can't but just smile when these two share the screen. Eventually I got to thinking whats happened to movies now a days? They are just so unbelievably horrible and the writing SUCKS well I know the good ones are usually at Sundance but than major studios rip them to pieces. I want to see a Hollywood that has distinguished actors like Clark Gable, Marlon Brando, Cary Grant, Grace Kelly, Humphrey Bogart, Bette Davis, Audrey Hepburn<3, Warren Beatty. I mean what the hell happened to acting and making movies? Enough of this Megan "can't act for shit" Fox and all these other girls who get in the movies based on looks have some talent for once, enough with Transformers don't get me wrong great entertainment but show me something that makes me actually have to use my brain and especially all these Halloween movies ok we get it after the 300th one they made just stop already.

I want a director to come along and challenge the movie industry by making an old school type of film in black and white one that makes you want to live in the time era between the 30's and 60's one that makes you wonder how damn beautiful it would have been to be involved with the greatest actors and actresses to ever appear in some of the greatest films that we know. The cars, the REAL way of making money not this 20 million per picture crap, the fashion back then where the men dressed so classy and the woman beautiful and elegant big hats and dresses. To me it seems like Paris would have been more romantic than it is today now I've never been there but I think theres a big difference that I just can't put my finger on. All of this because of True Romance is it so much to ask for a real decent film that America could love and say to themselves "you know I hope I fall in love today"? Is it so much to ask for a beautiful actress to step up with looks and brains and deliver performances like the greats did? If I have to be the James Dean/Humphrey Bogart of this time I swear I'll drive to Hollywood and be that.
